Disney+ launched on Nov. 12 and has since been met with positive reviews. The streaming service offers various types of media from Walt Disney-owned channels such as National Geographic.

Since some of us don’t have the patience to wait for the buffer to completely load on bootlegged websites, our generation has been waiting for an easier way to access our all-time favorite Disney movies without having to resort to subscribing to multiple streaming services.

Our dreams turned into reality on Nov. 12 when Disney released Disney+, where kids and adults alike can enjoy a blast from the past watching their favorite Disney movies and shows.

Disney+ is an online streaming service that costs $6.99 a month and has on-demand shows and movies, among other things. Disney+ is available without cable and can stream on devices like Apple TV, Roku, mobile devices, Playstation 4 and more.

With Disney+, subscribers can watch up to 500 movies and 7,500 shows. The service also provides a 7-day free trial that allows subscribers to cancel at any time.

Disney+ not only offers Disney programs, but the service also offers content from other companies they own such as Marvel and National Geographic.

Competitors such as Netflix don’t have our beloved throwback movies and series like “That’s So Raven.” A lot of Disney and Disney-owned content have also been pulled from various streaming services, as well, so you’ll need Disney+ for that.

What’s really cool about Disney+ is the search button. When you click on the search icon, it gives you a collection of Holiday movies, Princesses, Marvel, Star Wars and more. It’s a really nice setup that separates and organizes all the movies into categories, making it easier for watchers.

Netflix is $11.99 a month, while Hulu is $7.99 if you don’t mind the commercials and has an additional $6 charge for commercial-free streaming. Disney+ definitely has all the goods we are looking for, and it’s cheaper. Now that’s a steal.

Additionally, Verizon offers a one-year subscription for Disney+ for free. Verizon customers have until the first of June of 2020 to claim this offer.

Disney+ was a dream come true, a dream that only costs $6.99 a month. Disney+ is definitely worth it and you are never too old to enjoy a Disney film.

“Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever,” as Walt Disney once said.
