Allison Chan, Staff Writer
Allison Chan is a 43-year-old staff writer for The Connection. She joined The Connection because she enjoyed taking classes with Professor Gulati in the fall semester and welcomed the challenge and practice to improve her writing. Her goals with The Connection are to improve her ability to meet deadlines, and more confident and comfortable interviewing people at events. She also wants to gain experience in reporting and storytelling because it’s rewarding seeing a finished article published.
Outside of The Connection she is passionate about thrifting and helping other find unique pieces and put together outfits. She also likes working as a vendor at the flea market and swimming and recently joined Cosumnes River College’s swim team.
