Sloan Campbell, Editor
Sloan Campbell is a 20-year-old journalism major and the spring semester Sports Editor for The Connection. They joined The Connection because it is a major requirement for the journalism degree and was recommended to them by The Connection’s advisor, Rubina Gulati, after taking her Journalism 310 class, Mass Media and Society.
After The Connection they hope to have broadened their news writing and reporting skills and transfer to San José State University to major in journalism and minor in radio, television and film and economics. After that, they hope to travel before looking for a job in the journalism industry. Outside of The Connection they are passionate about film photography, going to the cinema and hiking.
